Research Institute for Social Policy, Social Work, Family and Population Dynamics
ReSPOND broadly focuses on responses of societies, families, organisations and institutions to a changing environment, notably in the context of European welfare states, inequalities, and global climate change.
Mission
- We investigate family and population dynamics, and social policies and social interventions across European welfare states
- It is of key interest how these interact and produce outcomes in terms of poverty and inequality, fertility, employment, and well-being
- A particular focus is on new risks and challenges, including climate change, migration, ageing, and automation
