Welcome to the website of the 2012 CFR seminar to be hosted by FaPOS, the Family and Population Studies research group at the Centre of Sociological Research (CeSO) at K.U. Leuven.

The Committee on Family Research (RC06 or CFR) is the Research Committee number 6 of the International Sociological Association (ISA). The International Sociological Association (ISA) is a non-profit association for scientific purposes in the field of sociology and social sciences. The Committee on Family Research was founded in 1959, and as of November 2010 it had 422 members world-wide. The purpose of the Committee on Family Research is to encourage family research of high quality within and between countries.
