Extracurricular Activities
I think above all the reason why the MEPP experience was so excellent was due to the people I met there. Sometimes things just “click”. That important factor, coupled with the fact that we all really adored our classes made MEPP very special. Aside from all the nice social things, I can now honestly say that I know why the Brits do not implement certain EU laws, and wait to do it till the day of the deadline, even though they are effectively among the first to be ready to implement! That and other interesting things is what you can learn while at the MEPP program. You will wake up one day and know where all the structural problems the EU is fighting are coming from…
