The modalities of the EUMEPAR initiative rely on three core principles, mutually influencing each other:

(1) Training: specialized training in methodological and conceptual aspects of governance in MEDA countries (distance learning program & intensive seminar).

(2) Exchange: practical research by each EUMEPAR participant in a country different than his/her, allowing the young researchers to get acquainted to different research traditions, and reinforcing their comparative skills.

(3) Networking: the present project aspires to be a platform of cooperation among the different researchers and their respective institutions; forming the basis for future cooperation in larger research projects.
