Excursion

Discovering multidimensional Brussels
Sunday, June 5th

Rather than a traditional sightseeing trip, this original bustrip around Brussels, capital of Belgium and of Europe, will show you the city's extremes and contrasts, its problems and developments. In addition to a general overview of the city and its dynamics, particular attention will be given to the city's architecture and specifically to the style in which Belgium and Brussels have played a leading role: Art Nouveau. The tour wil include short visits to "Les Magasins Waucquez" and to the beautiful old shop premises of "Old England." We will have lunch in the latter, enjoying an impressive view on the old heart of the city. Finally, the tour will also take you to the quarter with the EU-institutions. In sum, the tour will be both an original introduction for those who do not know the city and an alternative look at the city for those who do.

Cost of the excursion: 30 Euro (includes bus, guidance and lunch).

Registration for the excursion: please tick the appropriate box when you fill out the registration form.
