Faculty Club - Convent de Chièvres - Grand Beguinage - 3000 Leuven - Belgium

The Faculty Club is the conference and meeting centre of the Catholic University of Leuven. They welcome guests to the calm and tranquility of the 13th century Infirmerie of the Grand Beguinage and the Convent de Chièvres, built in 1561. The ancient historical site of the Grand Beguinage was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in March 2000, and the Faculty Club manages a part of this unique complex.

The Faculty Club is ideally situated on the Leuven ring road, close to the E40/E314, and has parking for 200 cars - only 15 minutes from the national airport and 20 minutes from Brussels by car or train.

We advise you to bring comfortable shoes to the conference due to the cobbled streets in the Grand Beguinage.

  • Travel to Leuven:

The airport closest to Leuven is Brussels Airport (about 45 minutes by train). Yet, depending on your port of departure, it might be more economical to fly to Paris (Charles de Gaulle airport) or Amsterdam (Schiphol) and then travel by train to Brussels and then Leuven.
