Future of Europe Lecture by Wolfgang Schäuble

Brexit, migration, terrorism, deepening EMU, transatlantic cooperation ... these days the EU does not lack challenges. In the third Future of Europe Lecture Dr. Wolfgang Schäuble, Germany's Federal Minister of Finance and one of the leading European politicians, will share his ideas on how the EU should overcome these challenges.

The Future of Europe Lecture will take place on Tuesday 23 May at 7 pm in Leuven (Aula Pieter De Somer, Charles Deberiotstraat 24).

The Future of Europe Lecture is organised in the framework of the Wilfried Martens Fund that has been established at the KU Leuven to conserve, spread and deepen Wilfried Martens’ European political heritage and ideas.

At the occasion of the Future of Europe Lecture the Thesis Prize 2017 (for the best master thesis written in 2016 on one of the Fund’s topics) will be awarded. The laureate of the Scholarship 2017-2018 (for a student from a non-EU country to follow the English-taught master programme MEPP) will also be announced.
