| Experience | At the Public Management Institute M. Brans is responsible for training programmes on policy analysis and policy formulation for the Flemish Government and Flemish local governments. She teaches
several courses at the Department of Political Sciences: She is engaged in several international research networks: with Tilburg University on the comparative quality of policy-making and democracy in Belgium and the Netherlands, and with B. Rockman (University of Pittsburg) on the relationship between the professionalised civil service and politicians. In past and present projects she has collaborated with leading public administrationists and policy specialists such as B.G. Peters, C.C.Hood, J. Pierre, G. Majone, E.C. Page and the late V. Wright. |
