Electronic government

Objectives

The research into ICT and e-Government aims to acquire knowledge about the influence of ICT on the relationships within government (intra-governmental), between governments (inter-governmental) and between government and society, specifically citizens, companies and the civil society (extra-governmental). The focus of this research is on the way in which ICT is used within these relationships and how ICT can change these relationships. This knowledge should lead to practical policy recommendations concerning the possibilities which ICT offers for new and innovative approaches to government.
