Cross-policy

Major objectives in the development of the Union's various foreign policies, are the promotion of human rights and democracy, arms control, conflict prevention, the fight against terrorism and the construction of an international rules-based order and the support for international courts. These are constitutive elements of the EU as a values-driven international actor, both through the CFSP and through most aspects of EU foreign policy beyond CFSP.
