Courses offered
Master in Quantitative analysis in the social sciences

Aim of the master's programme is to train students in a range of multivariate techniques of analysis which are used nowadays all over the world in quantitative scientific research in the social sciences. The training will allow students to participate in research projects where such techniques of analysis are used. The training also aims at familiarizing students with advanced computer programs such as LEM, LISREL, ALSCAL and others, and with sophisticated applications of statistical software such as SAS, BMDP and SPSS.

A student exchange programme has been agreed upon by the 'Gallup Research Centre of the University of Nebraska' Lincoln, USA (director: Prof. Dr Allan McCutcheon) and the K.U. Brussel. Every academic year, two students enrolled in the VAO -programma 'Quantitative Analysis in the Social Sciences' can stay for one semester at Gallup Research Centre. For more information click here.
